In this post, I will examine the tools initially created to assist you with learning more about Riders Up! and horse racing.
Tabs on Top Line - You will see tabs for each of my prior Kentucky Derby newsletters/e-mails. Within each tab details my selection process for that particular Derby ending with my selection. My Derby Picks is a unique tab that in one location illustrates my selections over the years as well as a fictional $100 across the board (Win, Place, Show) wager on my Derby selections and the results. Essentially this is bottom line my results as a Derby handicapper.
Mission Statement - All good blogs and companies (thanks Notre Dame MBA Professor Chuck Bamford - Strategy, Entrepreneurship) have a succinct and memorable mission.
Posts - The bulk of my information will be provided here. Seeking to become the Bill Simmons of horse racing -- keep it up Mr. Simmons. Happy reading and again please provide feedback.
Disclaimer - The disclaimer is to cover my tush so that I cannot be sued for my predictions because people applied it in real life. This blog is merely for entertainment and reader is responsible for any and all actions after reading the material. Thanks to my MBA Legal Professor Rob Kearney.
Ads - Throughout my page you will see advertisements - at your own will select these ads and enjoy the journey that ensues. Hopefully I can convince Phil Raskin (ND MBA Marketing Professor/Mentor) that I may make it in advertising by stepping out of my comfort zone with this enterprise.
Search - Please use Google Search for finding anything you may need to learn. Shout out to those at 1600 Amphitheatre Drive and thank your for providing the tools to develop this blog. Blue Horse Shoe says buy Google (again for amusement only).
Help Promote - Please become a Rider's Up! fan and help get the word out to all your friends and fans by Tweeting (or twitting -- inside joke -- thanks George), or "What are you doing" -- pumping Rider's Up! on FaceBook.
Be Claimed - Add an RSS feed for all posts or all comments -- that way when something happens you will be in the know.
Stable Mates - Become one of my "horses" and followers by joining. Greatly appreciated in advance and will have an annual awards post for top performers.
Bio - All you will need to know about me -- kinda feel its like a resume. By the way I am searching for the next step in my career -- Seeking my next trading or venture capital role. I have links to my LinkedIn, FaceBook and Twitter pages.
Get Your Racing Form - All the latest horse racing news with continuous scrolling -- just click and read. Don't forget to circle back.
The Works - This is an extensive list of websites I frequent when seeking information on horse racing. This will continually evolve through this process. Happy clicking!
Blog Archive - You can search all my posts from this spot -- Much better than the Dewey Decimal system.
Hope this provides a little insight -- pretty self explanatory but nice to have and see where this blog started and where it leads. See you in the Winner's Circle. Riders Up!
